Abstract

Letter to David from Elizabeth who is anxious to hear from him. She points out that this is her third time writing without hearing anything from him, besides on the phone. She urges him to write to her soon and to write to other family members as well. Elizabeth updates David on their friends and family, the weather and additions to their house. She discusses daily activities such as lunch with friends and books she is reading. Elizabeth asks David about specific activities of the Navy and tells him how proud she is of him while he is away. She also mentions paying for bills, and the tenants in David’s apartment.
