Abstract
Letter from Elizabeth Ames to her husband David about how proud she is of her husband for being away but also about how she misses him. She refers to a recent phone call after a practice alarm of some sort, and it was nice to hear from him directly after all the stress and congratulates him on a Letter of Commendation from the Admiral. She also mentions the carpet samples she has looked at for their house and wants his opinion on the color.
